INTERNATIONAL YOGA DAY

Celebrated on June 21st, International Yoga Day celebrates the physical and spiritual prowess that yoga has brought to the world stage. While it is an important source of exercise and healthy activity millions join in and practice on a daily basis. For many, these routines are a way to connect the body, mind and soul in a way that has existed for centuries. To mark the spirit of the day and to create awareness about the benefits of Yoga among the trainees, International Yoga day is celebrated in the Institute every year.

BLOOD DONATION CAMP

Donating blood is a unique gift from one person to another where the patient hardly ever comes to know about the donor and where the donor hardly ever hears a word of thanks from the patient. The blood and blood products are also a vital support in preparedness for disaster management. The overwhelming concern for safe and adequate supply of blood & blood products for the large number of needy patients is the primary need. In order to meet the above, ITI organizes BLOOD DONATION CAMP annually/biannually by Blood Bank Society PGI, GMHS Sector-32, and Blood Bank Society Sector-37 with at least 100 donations at a time.

SWACHH BHARAT ABHIYAN

This Institute is regularly organizing the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan with the active participation of trainees & staff to clean and maintain the cleanliness of the entire Institute.

AIDS AWARENESS CAMP

Many people in India have still not heard of AIDS despite increasing risks, intensive health education campaigns and widespread scientific and media attention. More education is always associated with greater awareness. In AIDS, as in many health issues, the level of education influences awareness: education is associated with greater awareness: With the aim to impart knowledge on AIDS to the students, State AIDS Control Society organizes AIDS Awareness Camp in Industrial Training Institute in annually.

ANNUAL SPORTS WEEK

Sports give players an opportunity to know and test themselves. To keep the trainees of this institute in a high state of physical fitness, the trainees participate in indoor/outdoor games. An Annual Sports Meet is also organized to find the winners. There are number of games and events in which the students participate such as Cricket, Volleyball, Badminton, Shot-put, Discus throw, Javelin throw, 100/200/400mtrs race etc. The students participate in large numbers to play games during the Sports period. Annual Sports Meet in the Campus is organized in the month of March every year in which Prizes and Certificates are awarded to the winners on the last day by the chief guest.
